Working with Art Therapy to reduce anxiety
To express yourself from within shows the battle you have in your inner self & outer self. The Creation can be very therapeutic hence, Art Therapy.
To work with idleness hands is a could show you what you are thinking about or what you want to express from yourself. It can be very creative &* who know> You may be a budding Artist!
You may continue to do Artwork regularly or to find even a career in it. Let's see, if you are feeling relief that is the major focus of this exercise so go with Art Therapy & see where it leads...
Being an Artist this sort of Therapy usually comes easy to me but sometimes I use it, like now, when I need it most, filled with anxiety caused by the external world, I seek it for release from falsde fears. I know to fear not, for it is the way to the dark side. ~Yoda
Working with your hands is to really feel a part of yourself in tangible form, to see your soul emerge & to take a look & see how you are feeling inside, can be quite liberating!
Dear Blog~ Today is a very no good, very bad day for me. I awoke with much anxiety & it is Monday. I just can't stop fidgeting & my hands are typing frantically. I think this may be an anxiety attack. I haven't had one in awhile but I have to get thru this the best I can with my writing...
Creative Visualization. Whatever you visualizing in your mind what you want & desire can be brought about in reality if you try to see, feel. or even taste it. Be creative! See colors or objects & give them positive thoughts & vibrations & it will come back to you in many ways. A very fun & creative way to spend your time & heal.
IPainting. Press a variety of liquid paints all over your hands in colorful clumps. Then press the creative mess about a piece of paper and follow the painted Hands of Paint & draw lines on the paper to surround your handprints with colored markers. Then leave the piece of paper & see your own work of Art!
Drawing. Grab a few pencils & choose the thickest, darkest pencil filled with the graphite. Start sketching the Outlines of anything you want, like a tree. Detail the outline sketches with thinnder, lighter pencils to bring out the texture & 3 dimentional feel of the drawing. Just play with pencils & try different shapes & designs, See your drawing as a finished work of abstract art if you use all of the drawing techniques. I hope this brings about a fear of drawing now erased & feel better for scribbling if that is all you do~ good luck on projects & have fun!
